Mix and mingle over drinks and nibbles, hear stories from inspiring individuals and get a taste of the many strands of the New Zealand-Asia relationship.

This Asia After Five event features top Southeast Asian entrepreneurs who will share their insights into the dynamic food and beverage scenes in their home countries.

Alan Goh, global sales lead, Oddle (Singapore)

Alan is the global sales lead of Oddle, an online ordering system for restaurants. In just three years, Oddle has built up a portfolio of more than 1500 food and beverage merchants in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Alan, who studied business at the University of London, will share his experience in growing companies.

Talita Setyadi, founder and managing director, Beau (Indonesia)

Talita is the founder and managing director of Beau, a bakery brand specialising in European artisan bread and pastries with an Indonesian twist. Talita spent her formative years in New Zealand and studied music at the University of Auckland. She moved to Paris to study at the Le Cordon Bleu cooking school before returning to Jakarta. Her vision is to have a whole-foods company producing high-end food products so that Indonesia no longer needs to rely on imported goods.

Alan and Talita are visiting New Zealand for a week-long programme organised by the Asia New Zealand Foundation. They will be joined by five other food and beverage entrepreneurs visiting from Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

We are happy for you to invite a colleague or friend to this event. For catering purposes, please ensure they are registered.
