Dr Raghupati Singhania is the vice chairman and managing  director of JK Tyre & Industries Limited, pioneers of radial technology in India and leaders in the Indian tyre industry.  JK Tyre & Industries Limited is a member unit of JK Organisation, one of the oldest and largest business house in India. Dr Singhania is also the chairman of Empresas Tornel, S.A.de C.V., Mexico.

Dr Singhania is a member of the one of India’s most prominent and highly regarded business families. Along with his brothers, he covers much of the Indian corporate waterfront.

Dr Singhania is also chairman, Fenner (India) Limited; director, JK Lakshmi Cement Limited and JK Agri-Genetics Limited; president, Hari Shankar Singhania Elastomer & Tyre Research Institute (HASETRI); member-Managing Committee, Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute(PSRI); as well as director of various other public limited companies.

Aside from his business interests, Dr Singhania has been involved with leading government bodies in India, including the Confederation of Indian Industry (member of the national council); the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (chairman); Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi Organising Committee (member); the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry (past deputy president); the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (past president and senior member of managing committee); the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (past president of North India Council and executive council member); Bureau of Indian Standards (past member); Rubber Board - Kottayam (past member); Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar (past member of the board of governors); and the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai (past member of the board of governors).
