A powerful rising economy, India is the homeland or ancestral country of New Zealand's second largest Asian community. Asia:NZ's Diwali Festival of Lights, run jointly with Auckland and Wellington City Councils, has grown into one of the biggest Diwali festivals for the Indian diaspora abroad. We continue to build on our relationships with India through business seminars, media exchanges and Track 2 dialogues.
