The APEC Study Centre in New Zealand is a research institute closely linked with the Economics Department and New Zealand Asia Institute at the University of Auckland.The Centre conducts research on APEC related issues, and research programs have included trade and investment barriers, effects of trade liberalization, development cooperation in APEC, and bilateral economic relations with other APEC members.The center also organizes conferences, workshops and public lectures on APEC themes, and acts as an important link to other APEC Study Centers abroad.
