Business breakfast: Japan festival of Wellington

A networking breakfast has been organised for Wellington’s business community as part of the inaugural Japan Festival of Wellington. It takes place on Friday 10 July in the Wellington Town Hall Auditorium from 7.15am to 9.00am.

Two speakers will make presentations on environmentally sustainable business opportunities.

Tatsuya Kawase, Senior Vice President of Mars and Company, a leading strategic consulting group with offices in USA, Europe and Asia, will speak about recent growth in the global solar energy market and increasing competition from Western companies.

K.-J. Dillon, Electric Vehicle Team Leader at Meridian Energy will speak about its electric vehicle programme, which is a venture partnership between Meridian and Mitsubishi Motors Japan.
