Fukuoka City’s site includes a database for finding business partners in the southern part of Japan and information for foreign firms investing in Japan. The site also has listings of trade-related events, such as the International Fukuoka Gift Show, in which participation by foreign firms is subsidised by Fukuoka City.
Industry Support and Networking Organisations
The council provides businesses in Japan and New Zealand with access to information about doing business in both countries. The New Zealand committee meets regularly in New Zealand, providing opportunities for interaction among New Zealand companies, and co-ordinates private sector interests.
The chamber's site includes a database aimed at foreign companies looking for business partners and web links to industry associations in Japan.

The Australia-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce is the only New Zealand expatriate business organisation in Japan with a sizeable membership and can be a good way to make contact with New Zealand businesspeople based in the country.
