Industry Support and Networking Organisations
The Trade Development Council is a global marketing and service organisation for Hong Kong-based manufacturers, traders and service exporters, providing marketing opportunities, business matching services, market intelligence and SME development programmes. Its site offers one-stop sourcing by product category. The closest office for New Zealand is in Sydney, but the Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association (below) functions as a contact point for traders wanting information.

The Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association has been helping foster business links between New Zealand and the territory since 1988. Its membership includes major corporations, SMEs and individuals, some of whom have joint membership with its sister organization, the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce is the city's largest chamber, with some 4,000 corporate members. Its site features Hong Kong and Mainland China business directories, a monthly business bulletin and business matching. The chamber's certification, business policy, economic and legal affairs and international business divisions also provide information.
The New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong has 165 members, maintains close relations with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and offers its members benefits that include a business mentorship programme.
