Find out about another festival of light. You could choose from:

Present your findings as picture book pages that answer these questions in both text and illustrations. You may wish to invent a character for your pages who will tell the story. Your story should tell the reader about:

• The country this festival came from.
• Who celebrates and when do they celebrate?
• Why is light important in this celebration?
• What the purpose of this celebration is.
• The special customs of this celebration.
• How the people make sure this celebration passed on from generation to generation?
