education
Developing a future generation of “Asia-literate” young New Zealanders is the focus of Asia:NZ’s education programme. We deliver resources for Asian studies in schools and tertiary institutions. We actively forge educational links to Asia through grants, scholarships and exchanges. Only by learning more about our Asian neighbours – about their history, culture, languages and lifestyle – can we make the most of the tremendous opportunities the region offers. Asia:NZ’s experience shows that the most powerful way to achieve this is to provide experiential learning opportunities. For more information about Asia:NZ's work with schools, email Schools Coordinator Janine Chin.
