Bamboo Curtain Studio Artists Residency Programme, Taipei

Bamboo Curtain Studio in Taipei aims to promote cross-cultural exchanges by lifting barriers, and provide a meeting point for visitors from international arts related fields, on short visits as artists-in-residence. It was set up to provide working space and equipment for ceramists, sculptors and mixed media artists; consultative, research and implementation services for arts related projects; production of site-specific arts in public spaces; and space for experimentation and development of multi-media art.

Taipei Artists Village

Taipei Artists Village (TAV) is located in the heart of Taiwan's vibrant Governmental District in Taipei City. It aims to foster artistic and cultural exchange between Taiwan and the rest of the world.  TAV organizes a variety of events and promotions to support artists with their projects, such as open studios, workshops, and artreach seminars, educational programmes, and curator visit meetings. TAV also develops a regular exhibition/performance schedule for both resident artists and the local art community in order to promote interaction between artists and the general public.  This year TAV will launch a new site in the Yangmingshan National Park, the Grass Mountain Artist Village, which provides another option for artists.
