Celebrate brand new beginnings in the Year of the Dragon at the Chinese New Year Lantern Festival. Bring all the family to picnic on the grass at our new home in Hagley Park's Carlton Corner, amidst hundreds of beautiful lanterns specially imported from China.
Sample delicious foods from the Asian food stalls, and enjoy non-stop entertainment. This year's top acts include a dragon and lion dance group from Shanghai, a Beijing reggae band, and an opera and modern dance group from Taizhou. Not to be missed!
