Wally Stone, Trustee of Asia:NZ

During the past 20 years, Wally Stone has worked extensively in the public, community, Iwi and private sector. He has held positions with the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Labour. His various roles include Deputy Chairman, Ngai Tahu Development Corporation; Commissioner, Maori Employment and Training Commission; Director, Christchurch and Canterbury Marketing, Chairman, Commact Aotearoa as well as positions in a number of profit and non-profit organisations. Internationally, he has held the position of Director, Commonwealth Association of Economic Development Practitioners.
