Richard Nottage

Richard Nottage, Deputy Chairman of Asia:NZ

Richard Nottage, CNZM, MA (Hons), M Litt (OXON) held many senior positions in New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, including Secretary of the Ministry between 1991 and 1999. He has served on the boards of directors of many New Zealand institutions, including the Trade Development Board, Institute of Policy Studies, Centre for Strategic Studies and the Researched Medicines Industry Association.

Mr Nottage is an honorary Vice-President of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs, a Director of the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research and Chairman of the Archives Council of New Zealand. He was appointed in 2000 as Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (CNZM) in recognition for his services as Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade between 1991 and 1999.
